Frame Wise, sponsors of the Fabric First Event, a one day conference and exhibition held at the National Motorcycle Museum, Solihull, on Wednesday February 27, 2013, will be presenting the benefits of adopting ‘fabric first' methodologies in respect of modern energy efficient construction.
The event brings together distinguished and pioneering presenters from across the globe including key note speaker, Simon Orrells, Managing Director of Frame Wise Ltd, who will be promoting the benefits of hybrid timber solutions and exhibiting their innovative Wise Wall which delivers cost effective fabric first methods up to and including code 6 solutions.
Fabric First is ideally suited for developers, architects, RSLs and house-builders looking to deliver high performance building fabric using thermally efficient airtight structures.With the impending 2013 Building Regulations set to include Fabric Energy Efficiency (FEE) performance standards, the choice of envelope is vital to low carbon construction.
Building on the sold-out event held at BRE, Watford last year, Fabric First is supported by the UK Timber Frame Association (UKTFA) and the UKSIPS Association. The in-depth programme of presentations and conference programme is also supported by an exhibition of 30 technology providers and networking sessions.
Delegate places are limited to a maximum of 250 and tickets cost £95+VAT per person. Tickets include refreshments, car parking and full day access to conference and exhibition. The full day programme runs from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
