Following its establishment in October 2012, Lakesmere’s flat roofing division is going from strength to strength with new orders and new team members.
The first contract to be secured by the new division is at Heathrow Airport, where the team will be completing flat roofing and composite panelling work on the new main car park at Terminal 2 for main contractor Laing O’Rourke.
To meet the increasing demand for Lakesmere’s flat roofing services, two new key appointments have also been made to further strengthen the team that is headed up by Operations Manager Mike Goddard.
The welcome additions of Phil Pawley as Commercial Manager and Tony Goddard as Site Manager will offer clients a dedicated and comprehensive service, helping to facilitate the division’s future growth and integration with Lakesmere’s existing product range to provide clients with a single point of delivery for the total envelope solution.
Commenting on the new division’s successful launch, Operations Manager Mike Goddard said: “Although still in its infancy, Lakesmere’s flat roofing division has already laid some strong foundations and I look forward to building on these with our new team members to help further expand Lakesmere’s share of the flat roofing market.”
Lakesmere currently offers a wide range of roofing solutions including standing seam, single ply and composite, however the new division will extend this further, with all types of flat roofing from inverted roofs to structural waterproofing and car park decks. The range will include a variety of membranes from hot bituminous systems through to cold applied and will also enhance the current offering in single ply membranes, thus enabling the company to provide clients with the most flexible, quality driven product range in the industry.
