Cordek Ltd celebrates 40 years in business and signs a new five year trading deal with Jablite, a leading manufacturer of expanded polystyrene insulation products.
The two companies have a long standing relationship that spans the 40 years of Cordek’s existence and this new contract reflects the good will between them.
The deal confirms that Jablite will be the sole supplier of the Expanded Polystyrene mouldings that are the key component of Cordek’s new Cellcore HX product range.
Cellcore HX is an innovative product designed – after an extensive research and development programme - to alleviate the effects of ground heave on foundations.
“Cellcore HX is a key product in our business and we expect to see substantial growth in sales over the next five year period, which will be good for both our businesses,” says Alastair Seaton, Technical Director at Cordek.
“This sole supplier commitment demonstrates the trust and confidence we have in the Jablite team to deliver a quality product on time.”
Jablite Managing Director, Richard Lee, explains the importance of the deal to Jablite, “Our business has undergone a period of intense change during the past five years, this formal arrangement with Cordek is a sign that our strategic plans are working.
“We have made a substantial investment of around £600,000 in new machinery to service this Cordek agreement. As well as developing innovative products, we want to form strong partnerships with our key customers and to offer them exceptional service standards.
