ISO-Chemie blows hot and cold at Ecobuild to showcase air tightness product qualities

One of Europe’s leading producers of foam sealant tapes ISO-Chemie will be taking an innovative approach to demonstrating the airtight benefits of its products at Ecobuild 2013.

The company will have an interactive display incorporating air guns similar to those used for spray painting for stand visitors to test out the air tightness of its the iso³ system among other products on display.

This system provides three levels of sealing - external seals provide weather resistance and breathability while the intermediate seal provides extra thermal and acoustic properties and the internal one air tightness and humidity regulation. All three levels are designed to accommodate movement between the adjacent materials.

Also featured on the stand will be a blower door test demonstration to show how sealing tapes can drive up levels of air tightness and help the building and construction sector comply with the energy efficiency Code for Sustainable Housing Level 4, 5 and even Level 6, together with Part L of the 2013 Building Regulations which are coming into force.

The company’s UK technical and distribution operation is based in the North East of England, supported by a dedicated logistics service to ensure customer orders are completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
