Vivid Bleu Turquoise B119 from the Polyrey Color Gloss collection has been used as part of the eye-catching bespoke island unit of the Cassidian Customer Experience Suite, providing the stylish breakout area with a flash of striking colour and dramatic focal point.
Requiring a professional yet comfortable breakout area to welcome distinguished guests including civil servants and senior politicians, the Customer Experience Suite at Cassidian needed a bold and contemporary scheme to reflect the company’s principles of encouraging collaboration and innovation.
The creative design solution provided by Paramount Interiors transformed the interiors into an open and well-lit environment with sleek features such as glass partitions and a plane tail rogue column nodding to Cassidian’s aeronautical connections and adding to a futuristic feel.
Ceri Bowden, Senior Designer at Paramount Interiors explains the impact of the bold use of brilliant colour for the bespoke island: “The project had a gallery feel where white was predominant, however the breakout area needed an injection of colour and we chose to do this using the furniture,” Ceri explains.
“I selected Polyrey as they have a fantastic collection with a huge range of choices. The bar was always going to be the focal point in that area and needed to stand out. I chose Bleu Turquoise to compliment the furniture and to add a striking splash of colour to the whole area.”
As part of the Polyrey portfolio of innovative surface textures, the Color Gloss collection showcases a deeply polished effect that accentuates the depth of colour, resulting in a sophisticated effect ideal for the Cassidian suite.
In addition, as a quality high-pressure laminate the collection also encompasses a host of impressive technical features, including superior impact, scratch and abrasion resistance to ensure a long lasting, sublime look. Ceri, who was responsible for specifying the laminate, continues: “I knew Polyrey products to be durable and long lasting so they were always my first choice. When I saw the Color Gloss collection I know one of these would be perfect.”
With the show stopping brilliance of the Blue Turquoise laminate used against a crisp white backdrop, the powerful colour combination works to illuminate the room, reminiscent of the striking flash of a tropical white island in an azure sea. Ceri summarises, “The whole area has worked exactly as planned.”
