VBH (GB) now stocks the new Argenta Invisible hinge range for internal and external doors and windows.
Invisible hinges are completely concealed when the door is closed so do not interfere in any way with the door’s sight-lines. Not only does this make for an obstruction-free hinge-side to the door, but also allows greater creative freedom for designers as the door can be stained in any colour without the worry of sourcing a quality hinge in a matching, or complementary, finish. On a more practical note, this also makes the hinge an ideal solution for use in ‘clean rooms’ as the door face and frame can be kept clean easier without the need to remove germs and dirt trapped in visible hinge components.
Invisible is available in three sizes; small, medium and large. The largest size will cater for a door leaf weighing up to 150kg and requires only minimal routing of the frame or sash. Even the small hinges are able to carry a respectable 50Kg sash weight so are ideally suited to light internal doors and side hung windows. All hinges allow a full opening as they open up to 180°.
The large and medium hinges are of metal construction, finished in attractive matt chrome, whilst the small is available in metal or in the Colori composite material. Colori is available in white, black or grey as standard, and to any other RAL colour subject to Argenta’s minimum order requirements.
Invisible has full 3D adjustment without the need to unhinge the door.
