Inta is continuing to expand on the success of its heating and plumbing range with the introduction of a new anti-tamper by-pass valve.
The new product, which follows on from Inta’s original bestselling by-pass valve, has been designed in response to installers’ concerns that homeowners and those without sufficient plumbing know-how can too easily adjust the position and settings on regular by-pass Valves.
Inta’s anti-tamper version is, like the original, compact and easy to fit, but features a unique transparent cap which is retained by a grub screw to ensure that end users cannot inadvertently change the system set up after the initial commissioning has taken place.
Stuart Gizzi, director at Inta, said: “We always strive to make effective, high quality products that are convenient for plumbers to use. Our new by-pass valve provides a resolution to the common complaint that a plumbers hard work can be undone when amateur fingers come into contact with installations.
“This commitment to listening to the needs of our customers in order to improve a product’s performance is evident across the whole plumbing and heating range and we encourage feedback that can help inform its development.”
The anti-tamper by-pass valve automatically stabilises flow rate when circulating pressures begin to rise in systems where thermostatic radiator valves are installed. This helps to prevent the pump pumping against a closed head and improves the efficiency of the boiler as well as increasing the useful lifespan of system components.
Inta’s anti-tamper by pass valves are available as 22mm compression fitting in both a straight and angled variant to suit any installation.
