Simon Knox of Knox Bhavan completes the architects’ programme for TRADA’s flagship conference In Touch with Timber on the morning of Tuesday 27th September at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry. He joins Roddy Langmuir of Edward Cullinan and Jim Greaves of Hopkins to discuss the theme, ‘Timber – the first choice for excellent design’. These leading designers will draw from their own award-winning projects to make the case for timber.
TRADA Membership & Marketing Manager Rupert Scott said, ‘A combination of materials is usually needed to achieve a great result, so we are not advocating timber only buildings. However, we firmly believe that using timber as a major material on almost any project provides the greatest scope for truly outstanding design.’
Now an integral part of the TRADA Technology-backed Timber Expo 2011 exhibition, In Touch with Timber will continue to inspire ‘through case study examples of everything that is new and ground-breaking in timber’, Mr Scott added. This year, however, the programme comprises four different, three-hour modules over two days, enabling delegates to personalise their visit to Timber Expo by booking the sessions most relevant to their business.
The pricing structure offers discounts with maximum flexibility. Multiple tickets for individual sessions can be bought and used in three ways:
TRADA member/ non-member
1 ticket £80/ £100
2 tickets £130/ £150
3 tickets £160/ £180
Subsequent tickets: £55/ £60
