Imax Xtra is a high efficiency floor standing condensing boiler range from leading manufacturer Ideal Commercial Boilers, providing the perfect choice for a wide range of commercial applications.
Offering a total of ten outputs, the Imax Xtra range is available either as single modules from 80kW to 280kW or as master-slave sequence modules 320kW to 560kW.
All options offer very low NOx Class 5 performance for maximum points on the BREEAM scale and extremely high nett efficiencies of 107.5% at part load, exceeding Part L of the updated Building Regulations for both new build and existing buildings, which came into force in April 2014.
The Imax Xtra’s high turndown ratio of 5:1 further minimises energy use by greatly reducing inefficient on-off cycles.
Quick and straightforward installation is also a major benefit offered by the Imax Xtra range. Conventional or room sealed flue options are available, and the boiler’s compact size makes it the ideal option where space is limited, whilst allowing the boiler to be manoeuvred through a standard doorway.
Each Imax Xtra utilises a robust cast aluminium-silicon alloy heat exchanger which incorporates a fully modulating premix burner with gas and air control, ensuring excellent efficiency throughout its firing cycle even down to 20% of the maximum rating. These superior operation capabilities are enhanced through a wide variety of system control options, ensuring easy application of BMS systems through volt-free contacts, as well as sequencing and sensor control. There is also the option for direct weather compensation.
In-built commissioning and fault diagnostics means these boilers are extremely straightforward to install and service, and makes it even easier for the Ideal Commercial Boilers technical support team to assist in rectifying any issues quickly over the telephone, thereby avoiding a more lengthy site visit.
