Hotel and Facilities Management by Leisure Connection, a leading operator of outsourced leisure facilities within the private and hotel sector, has invested £75,000 in updating and refurbishing the innaction health and fitness club at Park Inn by Radisson’s Cardiff North Hotel, which has resulted in a 953% rise in club members.
The refurbishment involved a major transformation of a disused pool hall at the hotel. This has been replaced with an impressive 30-station gym featuring state-of-the-art equipment, which is already helping to boost the profitability of the hotel and make good use of a disused space.
This investment and an investment into local marketing and outreach has helped the hotel penetrate the surrounding community; encouraging local residents to visit the club and indeed hotel more.

In addition to high-tech fitness equipment, the refurbishment saw Hotel and Facilities Management by Leisure Connection install a £15k wooden laminate floor and plasma screen TVs.
The private operator has also trained and hired a professional and qualified team specifically for the facility to ensure a premium service is delivered to its client’s customers, all of which was included within the investment package.
