Hanson Structherm has been awarded the international environmental standard ISO 14001.
Certification followed auditing by CPC (Construction Products Certification) and confirms that the company’s environmental management system meets the requirements of the standard. This includes maintaining and improving the system and on-going environmental performance as well as ensuring compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
The company has been providing innovative building solutions to the construction industry for almost 30 years including external wall insulation and the Fastbrick insulated brick slip cladding system.
As part of Hanson UK, Structherm has adopted a robust integrated management system, which embraces health and safety, quality and environment.
Mark Harrison, Hanson Structherm’s production and quality manager, said: “The ISO 14001 certification is an integral part of our Business Management Systems, which include an ISO 9001 Quality Management System, and demonstrates our long term commitment to providing high quality, sustainable products and service while reducing our impact on the environment.
“It is an important step towards our goal of achieving ‘best in class’ status in terms of performance management, customer focus and sustainability.”
