Grouphomesafe, specialists in door and window hardware components, will be showcasing three new and innovative products on stand 3-250 at the FIT Show 2013, held at Telford International Centre from 16-18 April 2013.
Launching at the FIT Show is the brand new pioneering window lock from ERA. The new multi-point lock for windows is the first lock of its type to market; re-establishing ERA at the forefront of market leading design for windows. With a rich heritage in window lock design within group stemming from the days of Feneseal and Cego, ERA has used its extensive knowledge in the field of multi-point door locks and brought this concept to windows.
The locking system has been specifically designed with our customers in mind, not only engineered for speed of fabrication and ease of installation but the new lock also offers many key differentials and is highly secure.
Likewise for door locks, the Vectis Plus is a modern, highly secure and accredited range of products which offers a variety of benefits for the installer and homeowner alike. The new and improved Vectis Plus is a cylinder-free door lock using a five-lever lock operation which cannot be subjected to snapping or bumping. Meeting the requirements of PAS 23/24 and Secured by Design, the Vectis Plus family has now evolved to offer you even more benefits, one of which is hardened plates to provide enhanced protection against attack.
At the show ERA will also be unveiling its new Kitemark multi-point door lock. The Fortress lock is the first to market in the UK and is fully compliant with the recently introduced PAS 3621 security standard. The new lock range has been designed to fit into the same routing as existing ERA MPL’s. Estimated to have approximately twice the strength of existing products, new security features include anti-drill plates on both sides of the gearbox and hardened hooks to prevent drilling attack.
Darren Waters, CEO of grouphomesafe, commented: “The FIT Show is undoubtedly the ideal opportunity to welcome you to the Grouphomesafe family of brands and present our newest innovations and evolutions to fabricators and installers including the industry-leading Fortress. With insurers now beginning to make PAS 3621 compliant locks a requirement, the launch of the Fortress could not be timelier”.
“The new window lock is a long-awaited clever design that will see our thinking towards window locks change in line with what the industry has seen on doors. Homeowners must continue to ask questions about window security as key to protecting their overall home. Alongside the trio of innovations we will be launching a new lifetime guarantee from BalanceUK, plus lots from EWS, Fab & Fix, Linear and Schlegel.”
Visitors to stand 3-250 will also have the opportunity to win a prize by entering our FIT Show competition - look out for your postal invitation or come and see us on the stand.
The grouphomesafe stand will feature group brands including Balance UK, ERA, EWS, Fab & Fix, Linear & Schlegel; Fab & Fix can also be visited at stand 1-160.
