GROHE offers high-quality and easy solutions for public conveniences by combining hygiene with safety, cost-efficiency with a long service life, as well as stylish looks.
GROHE’s electronically controlled taps, such as the Europlus E and Eurosmart CE, are perfect for public facilities as they are economical, hygienic and safe.
Controlled by infrared electronics, they dispense only the amount of water that is actually needed when the user places their hands underneath the tap- and as there is no need to touch the tap, no germs can be transmitted. An automatic function flushes the tap at intervals to prevent water stagnation and bacteria growth during periods of non-use. Moreover, the attractive rounded shape of the tap allows for easy cleaning and maintenance.
Electronic taps have the lowest possible operating costs and deliver a sustainable use of resources: compared to conventional taps, they can reduce water consumption by up to 70 percent. Depending on the requirements, the tap may additionally be equipped with a rotation lock, protecting the tap against vandalism by anchoring it in the wall with an invisible bracket mounted under the wash basin.
Additional comfort is provided by the GROHE Grohtherm Micro thermostat, which means that the water will remain at a comfortable and safe water temperature throughout operation.
GROHE’s Rapid SL installation systems allow for simple and quick installation of WCs and urinals, as well as wash basins. Different heights and a low depth make Rapid SL systems a particularly versatile solution for different wall types and as a free-standing element. Tested to hold 400KG, the WC frames are also extremely safe.
GROHE touch-free technology provides a hygienic solution to flushes, whilst GROHE radar controls for urinals are hidden invisibly behind the walls providing reliable protection against vandalism. The radars detect a user approaching or leaving the urinal and respond automatically as programmed.
Infrared controls are less costly and less complicated to install as they are accessed from the front. Seven preset programmes mean that the GROHE Tectron Skate systems can be adjusted to fit specific requirements: for example, it is possible to programme the system to automatically flush every 24 or 72 hours in order to maintain cleanliness. The reach of the infrared sensor can also be set as desired. In order to clean the WC or urinal, staff can switch to a manual cleaning mode, temporarily disabling the flush function so that detergents have time to take effect thoroughly.
The cover plate of the WC and urinal electronics unit is flat, blends in well with its surroundings and cannot be grasped with bare hands, thereby minimising the risk of vandalism. Operators can choose from a wide variety of finishes and designs in chrome or stainless steel, to complement the design of the facilities.
GROHE makes it easy to create hygienic, safe, sustainable and stylish public washrooms, which will meet consumers’ highest demands.
