G&H Group is building firm foundations for the future after announcing a new corporate structure to spearhead growth.
The Yorkshire-based company, which is on target to grow turnover by 15 per cent to achieve £15m this year, has created four divisions - building services, sustainability, maintenance and fabrication, in a strategic move to support its expansion plans.
Each division has its own specialist team offering expertise for individual projects as well as working collaboratively on client schemes.
The company, which was founded in 1998, started life as G&H Pipe Services providing labour only for mechanical pipe work installations. It changed its name to G&H Building Services in 2001 and, under current managing director Graham Kelly, has evolved into a market leading, multi-disciplinary group.
G&H Group currently employs 80 staff including eight apprentices – for which it won a regional training merit award for apprentice installer of the year, 2013. Last year the building services division also won two national industry awards for contractor and supplier of the year.
G&H has recently completed projects at the new £9m Ogden Macmillan Oncology Centre at Harrogate District Hospital and the £1.7m fit out of St Botolph’s LA Fitness centre in London.
Looking ahead, Mr Kelly said it is very encouraging that the company has already secured £5m of new contracts due to start within the next six months.
He said: “In the last two years we have recorded significant increases in both turnover and profit resulting in the recruitment of a number of new staff. The new group structure will enable us to focus on providing a wider range of services and to grow the business across more disciplines.
“By offering a greater breadth of services and expertise we are able to demonstrate our commitment to innovation and dedication to our clients. It is a reflection of all the hard work of everyone at the company that we continue to go from strength to strength.”
G&H’s clients include Asda, EE, Leeds City College, Rolls Royce, Barnsley Council and Gordons LLP. It has also added major new clients recently including the Rank Organisation and Odeon Cinemas.
