As Griptex encapsulates advanced flooring technologies, it is unique compared to many other vinyl floorings. One of these exclusive benefits is its surface finish, which features patented, GripX slip resistant technology. This superior slip resistant treatment enables Griptex to remain effective in both wet and dry conditions and meet HSE standards.
100% recyclable and 3mm thick, Griptex, also features a Gerflor Fibre Technology (GFT) backing system, which includes 97% recycled fibres. This unique backing, combined with a dimensionally-stable interlayer, facilitates loose-lay fitting of up to 35m2, and takes hours as opposed to days to install compared with traditional vinyl. As adhesive, and the need to lift existing smooth floorings, is generally eliminated, faster completion times and significant time and cost savings are possible.
Proven in social housing applications and popular with tenants, Griptex is warm and cushioned underfoot, acoustic to 16db and easy-to-clean, with a hardwearing, stain-resistant surface coating, which does not trap dirt. The new designs and colours, that complement kitchen and bathroom schemes, will ensure its continued popularity amongst tenants; whilst Griptex’s longevity is backed by a 15 year product guarantee, plus two, three and four metre width options minimise waste and avoid joining on site.
In addition, Griptex benefits from an integral, 90% RH resistant, waterproof membrane to allow for installation without the need for new subfloors to fully dry out, or in damp conditions and older properties without damp proof membranes.
