NICEIC has produced its most comprehensive on site guide for Domestic Electrical Installers.
The new 316 page book features the most up-to-date and relevant information for contractors involved with electrical installation work in the home.
It provides guidance for anyone involved in the design, construction, inspection or testing of domestic electrical work and is intended to promote good practice across the industry.
“NICEIC has worked alongside the Electrical Safety Council to produce this guide which we feel contains everything a domestic electrician will need to know,” said NICEIC’s commercial manager Mike Jackson.
“It also includes the latest information on solar photovoltaic and microgeneration installations which are increasingly becoming more common place work issues for the modern day electrician.”
The information is based on the latest requirements of BS 7671:2011 - the national standard in the United Kingdom for low voltage electrical installations.
With chapters on RCDs, consumer units, remote isolation, labelling and works in special areas the book brings together the latest text on regulations alongside clear and useful diagrams.
The Site Guide retails at £21. To grab your copy please contact our sales team on 0843 290 3501 or log on to www.niceicdirect.com
