Designed to offer further flexibility to specifiers working in retail, hospitality and office applications, GE Lighting has launched the high lumen Infusion M4500 Series as a new addition to its innovative range of Infusion™LED modules.
When combined with high efficiency optics, it allows for a genuine replacement of 50W & 70W HID with a true replication of performance and light output.
GE Lighting’s range of Infusion™LED modules has provided the lighting industry with a game-changing platform, opening up new possibilities for the use of long-lasting controllable, low maintenance LED solutions where the quality of light is critical to the customer/visitor experience. The range provides a complete tool kit to the designer when specifying track/accent lighting as well as ambient lighting applications using downlights. It also provides the freedom to create attention-grabbing displays, with the flexibility to alternate beam angles and light packages by simply swapping modules.
The Infusion M4500 Series plays a key role as it delivers the highest lumen package of all the products within the Infusion range up to 4500 lumens. By utilising 50 module watts, the module is also compatible with existing drivers and most M3000 cooling solutions, and can be used with existing optics developed for M3000 modules.
Further benefits include varying colour temperatures which include: 2700K, 3000K and 4000K, in addition to >80 and >90 CRI options. Plus, thanks to a simple twist and lock action, the module can be easily removed and replaced, with no additional hardware necessary.
“We are delighted to be adding the M4500 series to our market leading range of Infusion LED modules. As well as offering a high lumen output and long life, the module has been designed so that it can be upgraded as technology advances,” commented Mike Barrett Commercial Director for UK and Nordic at GE Lighting.
When the Infusion™range was first launched, it represented a major breakthrough in lighting technology, expanding the potential applications for LEDs and to date it remains the smallest twist-in module on the market. Now with Zhaga compliance across all Infusion products, the range also represents a significant milestone in the standardisation of LEDs.
