Recognised as the long established leader in its field, the Dickies ‘PROBAN’ Flame Retardent coverall has been further developed to meet new international safety standards.
The new coverall (Code No: FR4869) provides protection against heat and flame and is passed for use in welding and allied processes as specified and in compliance with BS EN ISO 11612:2008 and BS EN ISO 11611: 2007 respectively. The current Flame Retardent trousers and jacket in the ‘PROBAN’ range will also be updated to the new safety standards and introduced as new stocks arrive during the course of 2010.
Maurice Morton, Sales and Marketing Director for Williamson-Dickie Europe Limited says: “Personal Protection Equipment should be taken very seriously by people who work in any potentially hazardous situation; by wearing Dickies Fire Retardent ‘PROBAN’ coverall where there are possible dangers from heat, flame or spatter, workers now have the added confidence that they are protected to these high international governmental standards”.
