Portview Fit-Out has boosted its financial results for the second year running, reporting a turnover of £24m in 2011, up 2.1 per cent from £23.5m in 2010.
Major projects for clients including OMEGA, Arcadia Group, Harrods, Geox and World Duty Free have contributed towards the company’s strong financial performance. The Belfast-based team also delivered six flagship stores for leading retailers at Westfield, Stratford City in September 2011.
Simon Campbell, managing director of Portview said: “The last two years have been challenging, but we’ve continued to deliver a strong performance and that’s mainly attributed to the strength of our client relationships. 85 per cent of the work we carried out last year was for our existing clients, many of whom we have been working with for four years or more.
“Our work spans both the top and lower ends of the retail market, which enables us to work with a broad range of clients. High end retailers are continuing to make significant investments in their interiors and the value stores are also refreshing their store concepts.
“Although our focus has always been on the retail sector, we’re looking to strengthen in our presence in other sectors this year, including the office market and the niche museum industry in which we already have experience. By further broadening our client base, we’re confident that we can build on our financial success and deliver another record year in 2012.”
