GE Lighting has launched a new Infusion Module LED catalogue presenting the company’s growing Infusion portfolio for environments as diverse as retail, museums, galleries, bars, restaurants, hotels and offices.
One of the most flexible lighting solutions on the market, Infusion modules allow specifiers to remove and upgrade LED modules in seconds, combining bright white light, extended life, low energy consumption and future proof design.
GE Lighting has been a pioneer of LED technology since 1962 and is now moving towards the standardisation of design, giving its customers the confidence of knowing that their investment is protected.
One of the main obstacles to early adoption of LED technology was concern over obsolescence: what happens when the next generation arrives? The answer lies in the form of GE’s Infusion LED model, which enables the entire LED module to be removed and upgraded in seconds, with the simple twist of a hand.
This makes GE Infusion one of the most flexible lighting solutions on the market, with applications extending across an entire range of luminaires, including: recessed, accent, pendant, multi-head, track, surface mount and cylinder options. Providing a future proof technology, it means as needs change, modules can simply be replaced to upgrade the system or to meet a different set of design objectives.
In addition, as an LED system, Infusion is inherently more sustainable than other lighting technologies, offering significant reductions in energy consumption. Plus, the fact that its Zhaga-compliant means that as lower wattage LED light sources arrive on the market, upgrading will be quick, easy and cost effective.
Among the products featured within the new Infusion Module LED catalogue is the Infusion NPM Series, which delivers a high intensity narrow spot beam that brings drama and impact to retail, galleries and other display applications. When run at its maximum power of 25 watts, the Infusion NPM system delivers a peak intensity of up to 30,000 candela, in a narrow 10 degree beam of high quality light.
Also included within the catalogue is the Infusion DLM module series, designed for high-end retailing and commercial offices. The module delivers high quality ambient lighting and outstanding efficiency and colour rendering. The availability of lumen packages up to 4000lm means it is also ideal for high ceiling applications including shopping centres.
