Freedom Heat Pumps has announced two new strategic partnerships with Solfex Energy Systems Ltd and Segen Ltd to help meet the high demand for the new Samsung EHS Air to Water Heat Pump System.
Freedom HP’s Managing Director Graham Hendra said: “We have seen a huge rise in interest for the new Samsung EHS Mono product and with the good news coming out of DECC about the RHI, we expect even more interest over the next few months.
“Both partnerships allow for quick expansion of this already successful product into the Solar Thermal and Solar PV market places that have so far been neglected by other heat pump manufacturers.”
Solfex are the UK’s leading suppliers of solar thermal products and have a supply infrastructure that allows for quick expansion into the market via a number of national chains. Samsung EHS is a product which complements their existing range Solar Thermal and Solar PV products perfectly.
Segen are the UKs largest distributor of Solar PV products and have a massive database of existing MCS installers who are all showing an interest in moving into the Heat Pump market. Segen now provide a 24hr online quotation and purchasing system that has seen a turnover of in excess of £100 million in 2011/12.
Both companies are being supported by Freedom HP for technical support, warranty and training. Paul Taylor of Freedom said: “Freedom Heat Pumps have been involved in the development of the Samsung Mono from its very inception; we have an unrivalled technical expertise in the product which has been identified by these two hugely successful companies and we are confident that together we can put Samsung EHS into a market-leading position within 12 months, a place it richly deserves.”
The Samsung EHS unit is simple to install and control; is ultra-quiet; offers heating and hot water operation across three separate zones with three different set points; the unit can be operated remotely and even over the internet if required.
The unit incorporates the very latest DC inverter technology for both its compressor and fan motors offering silent operation and capacity control from 10-100% capacity. It comes with inbuilt weather optimisation, freeze up prevention and legionella protection functions.
The unit can be connected and integrated into existing solar thermal installations with minimal fuss. The hot water recovery time is very impressive typically, recovering a 300l hot water cylinder from cold to 48C in under an hour.
