FOAMGLAS® cellular glass insulation has been awarded the international natureplus® label at a recent ceremony in Munich. The highly regarded natureplus® label recognises building products that have a high level of quality in the areas of health, the environment and functionality and crucially in terms of its criteria - goes far beyond current standards and legal regulations.
FOAMGLAS® Wallboard, Floorboard, T4+, S3 and F from Pittsburgh Corning all carry the natureplus® label. All products were assessed according to the demanding natureplus® award guidelines in both the laboratory and in the manufacturing plant by experts from the Austrian Institute for Environmental Sustainable Architecture, the Bremen Environmental Institute and the Belgian VIBE Institute.

Manufactured from 68% recycled glass, all FOAMGLASÒ products are impervious to moisture, durable, non-combustible and offer thermal conductivities ranging from 0.038 to 0.055 W/(mK). With compressive strengths ranging from 0.40 to 2.90 N/mm2, FOAMGLAS® is suitable for flat roofs; standing seam roofs; green roofs or car park decks; interior, exterior or cavity walls; under or over concrete and hardcore floors.
