Two of the UK’s leading flooring manufacturers have joined forces to make a donation of £50,000 to Children in Need.
Worldwide flooring experts Tarkett has teamed up with Polyflor to make the donation and contribute to the record £31million already raised by the BBC telethon.
Jason Crump, Managing Director of Tarkett Ltd in the UK and Ireland, said: “Tarkett and Polyflor may be competitors but both companies can agree on the valuable work carried out by Children in Need.
“Corporate social responsibility is of huge importance to Tarkett and we like to do all we can to support the good work carried out by charities in the territories in which we operate.
“Tarkett hope the £50,000 joint donation can go some way to improving the lives of children here in the UK.”
