Where the directionality of vibration cannot be completely controlled or known in advance, FFE’s switches are believed to be the only ones available on the market to work effectively as they are responsive to vibration in all planes and angles of motion. On vibrating machines for example, the switch is set up directly on the machine itself during normal running operation, and is therefore very sensitive to changes in peak acceleration as low as 0.5g in horizontal, vertical and lateral axes.
