FDS Consult, one of the UK’s leading experts in fire engineering, is opening up its expertise to a UK wide audience with the introduction of its 2013 webinar series.
Building on the company’s experience in delivering high quality CPD seminars covering a range of topical themes within fire safety and design engineering, FDSC’s engineers will now be offering their expertise to those unable to attend their live sessions in person.
The first session in the series will take place on 30th May, with Michel Wizenberg, Managing Director of FDS Consult, providing an introduction to fire engineering, its benefits and applications.
Aimed at an audience of architects, consultants and contractors, the session will offer a best practice guide to overcoming the restrictive nature of fire safety on building design and achieving building regulations compliance.
Michel will be joined later in the series by fellow speakers and colleagues Jigar Pandya, Senior Fire Engineer, Fire Engineer Ben Haskell and Jim Golt, Senior Associate Fire Engineer who has more than two decades within the London Fire Brigade to his credit.
Of the webinar series, Michel Wizenberg said: “Our CPD seminars have always proved popular, with good numbers in attendance and lots of positive feedback received. We generate a lot of enquiries from individuals keen to attend, however, as sessions are often held in London we appreciate it can sometimes prove difficult for some due to geographical and time constraints.
“We hope that by bringing an element of our CPD sessions online we can reach an even wider audience and ensure that anyone keen to understand the many benefits that fire engineering can have in the building process is able to join us, regardless of their location. I’m sure that the sessions will prove popular and informative and look forward to delivering them.”
