Ltd., the UK’s leading manufacturer of high performance flooring adhesives and subfloor preparation products, has been awarded the BS OHSAS 18001 certification, an internationally recognised British Standard in Occupational Health and Safety. The standard is designed to support and promote good occupational health and safety practices and is helping F. Ball to maintain a formal occupational health and safety management system, minimising health and safety risks. One of the first manufacturers within the UK flooring industry to receive the certification, BS OHSAS 18001 demonstrates F. Ball’s planned and systematic approach to safety issues and risk assessment. Furthermore, the certification shows F. Ball’s legal and regulatory compliance and provides a clear demonstration of leadership and management commitment to employee safety. Carl Norman, Health and Safety Advisor at F.
