The Evomod range of condensing floor standing boilers from British manufacturer Ideal Commercial Boilers is a highly specified, energy efficient and easy-to-install option suitable for numerous commercial buildings.
Available in four outputs of 250, 500, 750 and 1000kW, Evomod offers one of the smallest footprints on the market for the available output and can be stacked up to three modules high to further maximise plant room space.
As each module is compact enough to manoeuvre through a standard doorway, this ingenious design means that installation is straightforward, even for boiler output requirements of up to 1MW. In addition, the modular design allows a backup boiler to be added to the system without the need to sacrifice additional floor space.
Evomod utilises a stainless steel heat exchanger and the latest heating technology to achieve exceptional net efficiencies of up to 108.5%, exceeding Part L2, in addition to very low NOx emissions of <40mg/kWh (Class 5), earning maximum points on the BREEAM scale. Energy use is further minimised by the sophisticated control system which can achieve an impressive turndown ratio of up to 20:1, dramatically reducing on-off cycles and reducing running costs.
To fully maximise operational efficiency, integral controls include built-in module diagnostics, sequencing and remote indication, all of which can be monitored and adjusted using a single boiler control.
Designed with the installer in mind, the Evomod has just a single flue outlet, system, gas and electrical connections to greatly simplify the installation procedure. In addition, all components are accessible from the front of the appliance, making both commissioning and servicing easy and hassle-free regardless of space constraints. The plain text display of the boiler facia allows the Evomod to be programmed quickly and easily, and also makes it straightforward for the end user to operate, which is important in buildings where there is no dedicated energy manager.
The Evomod also qualifies for the Government’s Energy Technology List (ETL), making these boilers eligible for the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme as well as further demonstrating their exceptional energy efficiency.
