The ladders provide design solutions for a variety of situations and the comprehensive range embraces movable ladders to ladders with telescopic, autostop or hook on functions; custom ladders can also be supplied for an individual shelf unit, library, wine cellar or retail outlet.
MWE library ladders are made from stainless steel and are engineered to blend ergonomic simplicity with excellent contemporary aesthetics. With round-section or rectangular stainless steel uprights they are easily integrated into interior schemes. While some ladders hook on, others are designed to glide along a top rail which can be curved around corners with the ladder running on pivot fittings to allow quick access to shelves.
Where required an innovative stopping device may be incorporated which is activated by stepping onto the ladder to prevent the ladder from unintentional moving while in use. Various options are offered to allow the ladders to be stowed discreetly when not needed.
