The recent launch of the new Eliminator system filter from Sentinel across the UK has seen a huge response to the launch promotion that saw the first 10,000 units sold, coming with a guaranteed prize of either another Eliminator or a bottle of X900 system filter enhancer absolutely free.
The promotion ended in February with ‘hot spots’ for sales take up high in Northern Ireland, the North West and in the South East of England in particular.
The extremely lively market for system filters was illustrated by the fact that more than 10,000 of the new Eliminator units were sold in the first three weeks after it was delivered into the merchants.
Eliminator is a new central heating device which utilises ground breaking Quadra-Cyclone Technology to rapidly remove all circulating debris – both magnetic and non-magnetic - from a central heating system. It’s highly effective at separating the debris in the system and removing it, blitzing system debris and keeping a heating system operating at optimum levels of efficiency.
There are a number of system filter units on the marketplace currently – some just removing magnetic debris, others removing magnetic and non-magnetic debris.
What’s different about Sentinel’s new Eliminator filter unit is the use of Quadra-Cyclone Technology - a first in the water treatment market - and Sentinel suggests it gives Eliminator a distinct advantage over traditional magnetic filters which remove most of the magnetic debris but arguably only do half the job.
Powerful centrifugal forces spin the debris down whilst simultaneously forcing clean water up through the centre of the unit, ensuring superior separation and a quick and effective clean.
“Initial sales have been exciting and it looks as if installers are willing to trust the Sentinel name and give the new unit a serious trial,” says Sentinel’s John Lynch.
“More than 90% of installers questioned that had bought and installed the new Eliminator said they would buy another one – that’s an excellent response to a new product. We’re benefitting from the reputation we’ve built in the water treatment market over more than twenty years of providing high quality products for installers and specifiers. This has been the best promotion we’ve ever been associated with and that suggests the new product is meeting a very real need for installers.”
Eliminator is available now from heating and plumbing merchants across the UK.
