EcoTherm Insulation’s plasterboard thermal laminate, Eco-Liner, has achieved BBA certification, adding another quality approved product to EcoTherm’s rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation range.
The BBA (British Board of Agrément) provide independent third party certification of a products performance, and Eco-Liner joins Eco-Versal, Eco-Cavity and EcoTherm’s flat roof product range in obtaining this stamp of approval.
The insulated plasterboard is designed for upgrading the thermal performance of walls internally whilst dry lining at the same time. The 2 in 1 application board saves time and materials on site but also brings buildings in line with latest Building Regulations/Standards without impacting internal space. Due to the excellent thermal performance of EcoTherm’s PIR insulation (lambda 0.022W/mK), minimal thickness is required to insulate the wall effectively – approximately half the thickness of some traditional insulation materials to meet the same performance.
Eco-Liner is approved for both dot & dab application and mechanically fixing to the wall and is ideal for refurbishment or upgrading walls of existing properties. The board can also be used to insulate and dry line under pitched roof rafters in loft conversions to create a liveable room in the roof.
