At this year’s Healthcare Estates Show, Douglas Delabie is showcasing the new wall-mounted Sequential BIOCLIP Mixer, one of many product solutions designed to counter cross-infection, achieve the highest hygiene standards and ensure anti-scald safety in healthcare applications.
Ideal for hospitals, clinics and care homes, the Sequential Bioclip Mixer features Securitouch technology and a BIOCLIP removable spout, optimising hygiene and safety whilst retaining user comfort.
Unlike most cast brass mixers, the Single Sequential Bioclip mixer body and spout have smooth interiors, significantly reducing the niches where bacteria can adhere and develop.
During washing protocols, bacteria can splash back and contaminate the mixer. To facilitate cleaning, the Bioclip mixer is supplied with two spouts, ensuring continuity of use during cleaning protocols.
The Single Sequential BIOCLIP Mixer is thermostatically controlled. Featuring a maximum temperature limiter set at 41ºC, and an anti-scald fail safe if the cold water shuts off, the risk of scalding is reduced considerably.
Since metal is a very good conductor, patients with reduced sensitivity or slower reflexes can easily burn themselves accidentally. Douglas Delabie’s Securitouch technology removes any risk of burning. The mixer body and spout incorporate thermal insulation, maintaining an ambient temperature and preventing heat transfer from the incoming hot water.
