The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) and Ofgem addressed 180 members of the National Insulation Association (NIA) at its Green Deal and Energy Company Obligation special briefing event in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The event provided NIA members with the latest details of the Green Deal and ECO as well as an opportunity to have their questions answered by an expert panel of speakers from DECC and Ofgem.
Neil Marshall, Chief Executive of the NIA, commented: "The event was arranged by us to ensure that our members were made fully aware of the key elements and requirements of the Green Deal and ECO and had the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarity on important issues first hand.
"It also provided our members with the latest information to help them maximise the opportunities available under these new schemes.”
The event also included speakers from Gemserv, the Solid Wall Insulation Guarantee Agency (SWIGA), Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency (CIGA) and the NIA.
