Dates announced for second year of event celebrating Best of British

Best of Britannia, the innovative and highly targeted brand event, returns on October 3-5, 2013 to showcase the best of iconic and emerging British companies that design and manufacture in the UK.

Building on the phenomenal success of last year’s launch, Best of Britannia 2013 will deliver an even greater landmark event featuring a broad selection of hand-picked British lifestyle brands showcasing the best that Britain has to offer and providing a unique retail and wholesale opportunity for exhibitors, international buyers and consumers alike.

Antony Wallis, Founder of Best of Britannia, comments: "We are very proud of what Best of Britannia achieved in 2012 – we could not have asked for a better calibre of exhibitor or visitor.

"In 2013 Best of Britannia has fine-tuned an already exceptional brand list and nurtured an even greater awareness from the UK business communities through to the discerning consumers that care and are captivated by the provenance of quality UK products."

Ian Oliver, Chief Executive, G Plan Upholstery, adds: "Best of Britannia is a celebration of the very best of British craftsmanship and design - a perfect fit with G Plan Vintage. We were delighted to support the first Best of Britannia event and, following a great response last year, we are looking forward returning this year and showcasing our expanding range."

Best of Britannia 2013 takes place at London’s Farmiloe Building, breathing life into a Clerkenwell landmark that was once central to the capital’s trade and commerce.

Sectors represented include: Home; furniture; lighting; food; drink; clothing; accessories; footwear; cycling; outdoor recreation; boat; and motor.

Exhibitors (some returning for the second year, some new to BOB) will range from long-established heritage brands to more recent start-ups - details to be announced in due course.

Best of Britannia offers exhibitors a first-class opportunity to meet and do-business with like-minded British companies, as well as sell to a targeted group of discerning international buyers and opinion-forming consumers who are keen to buy products specifically manufactured and/or designed in Britain.
