Daikin UK has developed an online ordering facility for the purchase of spare parts.
This will enable its heating, air conditioning and renewable energy installers to purchase parts 24 hours a day.
The online ordering tool provides pricing and availability, schematic diagrams to visually demonstrate relevant parts and systems, and aid the selection of substitute parts. Installers can also log on to the system using their mobile devices on site.
The online facility will enable installers to simplify the ordering of spare parts. This online service will provide Daikin UK customers with their own efficiency gains and make it easy to order parts at any time of day giving customers more flexibility.
Installers ordering from the Spare Parts Bank website will be offered free delivery and the opportunity to purchase other ancillary parts relevant to the selected spare part.
Dave Green, the Spares and Warranty Supervisor at Daikin UK said: “We are always looking to provide innovative solutions to our valued customers. The newly developed online Spare Parts Bank has been built with our customers in mind, using their feedback to develop a selection and ordering tool. There is a financial benefit of free delivery for customers using the online service.”
This new facility is being offered to installers to help them take advantage of the changing marketplace for heating, air conditioning and renewable products. Air conditioning systems now have the latest technological developments for energy efficiency and carbon reduction. The renewables industry is steadily increasing to meet the UK’s 15% energy target to be sourced from renewables by 2020.
Daikin UK is a market leader of environmentally responsible renewable energy heat pumps, refrigeration, ventilation and air conditioning solutions across the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.
Commercial air conditioning products include Sky Air for the light commercial market and VRV systems for the climate control of offices, educational buildings, and the leisure, retail, banking and healthcare sectors. Commercial refrigeration products include the Daikin ZEAS system which can be integrated with air conditioning systems for maximum cost and maintenance savings.
For the domestic sector, Daikin Altherma HT and LT Split and Monobloc air-to-water heat pump systems are available. Air-to-water heat pumps absorb heat from the air and convert it, via a condenser, into central heating and hot water systems. They provide a greener source of energy, producing fewer carbon emissions compared with other types of fossil fuel based heating measures.
