Thermofrost Cryo Plc in Birmingham has been appointed as a regional dealer for Daikin Airconditioning UK Ltd (Daikin UK), bringing forty additional years of experience in wholesaling and distributing refrigeration and air conditioning products to Daikin UK’s extended supply chain.
Thermofrost will distribute the full range of air conditioning, heating and refrigeration products, as well as spare parts supplied by Daikin UK.
Commercial air conditioning products being distributed include Sky Air for the light commercial market and VRV systems for climate control of offices, educational buildings, leisure, retail, banking and healthcare sectors.
For the domestic sector, Daikin Altherma HT and LT Split and Monobloc air-to-water heat pump systems are available. Air-to-water heat pumps absorb heat from the air and convert it, via a condenser, into central heating and hot water systems. They provide a greener source of energy, producing fewer carbon emissions compared with other types of fossil fuel based heating measures. Over 180,000 Daikin Altherma heat pumps have been sold throughout Europe.
Thermofrost Cryo Plc will also be distributing a wide selection of refrigeration products such as Daikin Zeas, which can be integrated with commercial air conditioning systems to achieve maximum cost and maintenance efficiencies.
Established in 1972, Thermofrost Cryo Plc has operated as a wholesaler and distributor for the refrigeration and air conditioning sectors for many years. Their team of sales engineers can assist with product selection and technical support for a wide range of refrigeration, air conditioning or heating applications, delivering products across the UK.

Daikin UK has formed this partnership with Thermofrost to intensify its distribution network, which already includes six regional dealers across the country in addition to the Daikin UK national sales force.
Thermofrost has offices at Birmingham and London for sales, despatch, technical and engineering facilities, together with trade counters for customer collections. A third site at Manchester operating as the RCL Division of Thermofrost Cryo offering sales facilities, product assistance and a trade counter.
