Crown Paints has clocked up a major milestone with the celebration of 200 years of manufacturing from its Hull plant.
The company joined forces with civic dignitaries and other leaders in the city to mark the landmark anniversary.
Crown Paints – whose brands in the specification marketplace include Crown Trade, Sandtex Trade and Sadolin – also has a manufacturing facility in Darwen, Lancashire, where the company’s headquarters are based.
Vernon Kinrade, Crown Paints’ Specification Sector Support Manager, said: “It is a considerable achievement to operate for two centuries in manufacturing.
“As a result of this longevity, specifiers benefit from the supply of quality, UK-produced paints, which carry more than 200 years’ experience in every can.”
