Managing director, Nick Rutter and chairman and CEO, Graham Whitworth, were named as winners of the Construction and Building Products category at last night’s ceremony held at the Hyatt in Birmingham.
The event, sponsored by Credit Suisse, celebrated leading entrepreneurs in the Midlands who have demonstrated the innovation, creativity and tenacity to succeed despite the tough economic environment.
The judges said: “This is a very professional duo who have taken an ordinary product and won leading market share in the UK. With strong financial growth, the company has appeared in The Sunday Times Virgin FastTrack four times. They are a highly efficient, niche manufacturer and know their business and market well. Dealing with lots of legislation and regulation, they are recognised by and suppliers to all the UK’s Fire Services.”
