Core Electrical Distributors (NI) Ltd, the Marshall-Tufflex distributor for Northern Ireland, has invested £250,000 in new warehousing and office facilities to serve the Northern Ireland market, creating three new jobs.
The company believes that the 4,600 ft2 facility in the Duncrue Industrial Park, Belfast, will bring real benefits to electrical wholesalers in the province, as Core Northern Ireland Sales Director Adrian McGarrity explained: “We are committed to supporting the Northern Ireland electrical wholesale network by selling our product lines solely via them. We believe we can help minimise their need for stock and storage as we now hold a vast profile of products in Belfast, from where they can be collected or delivered. We would like to be considered as an extension of the wholesalers sales force and warehousing function and hope to provide them with greater business opportunities.”
The Belfast facility is being seen as a ‘one-stop-shop’ for electrical installation solutions, stocking many quality specification brands such as the Marshall-Tufflex Twin165 high capacity double compartmental trunking system, the renowned Odyssey antimicrobial trunking system for healthcare, and the high-performing Power Poles and Underfloor Power Delivery systems for commercial projects.

The Belfast operation is headed up by Adrian McGarrity and supported by a team experienced in sales, logistics and customer service.
