The Insumate support system is a polypropylene tray which holds all types of insulation between I, open web and solid joists. Insumate enables a quick method of consistent coverage without the risk of compaction or sagging which can create a fire risk if wires come into contact with insulation material. This also provides the added benefit of lengthening the performance life of the insulation.
Over 50 sq/m of Insumate can be installed within 30 minutes, therefore minimising time and labour costs. The double skin construction allows for dampened acoustic travel and increased thermal insulation performance. The insulation support system is compatible with all timber floor and ceiling materials which will increase the acoustic value of any new build, retrofit or refurbishment project.

Insumate trays are made to fit all joist width gaps up to 600mm as standard but bespoke widths are available. All trays are 1200mm in length and vary insulation depths can be achieved by simply mounting the trays further down the side of the joist.
