Hardware distributor Carl F Groupco reports that a consistently popular product range, particularly for school refurbishments, is the Caldwell folding opener series which gives secure, controlled opening for low and high level windows.
The company reports that, even through the recession years, the folding openers have sold well particularly to the education sector with peak sales identified immediately prior to school holidays. Other markets supported by the product include hospitals, offices, sheltered housing and hotels.
A large part of the products’ appeal reported by customers are the safety benefits afforded with the ability to restrict openings. Additionally, the easy-to-use products, which are suitable for most PVCu, aluminium, timber and steel windows, provide secure locking and controlled ventilation in one simple operation.
Included in the folding opener range from Carl F Groupco are two standard products: type 110 for high level pole operation and type 112 for low level operation. Extended folding openers are also available along with the full range of accessories.
A silver anodised finish is provided as standard with coloured powder coated options as special orders.
