Leading developer of facade solutions, Carea, has launched a striking new range of double fitting cladding panels that bring texture and colour to building facades.
Part of the company’s Aquila range, the new panels are available in four different finishes – Carvi, Dune, Pixel and Smooth. They are also available in four new grey colour shades, to complement the existing 36 colours of the Aquila range.
Available in larger 600 x 1200mm sizes as well as the original Aquila sizes of 600 x 600mm, 600 x 300mm and 350 x 600mm, the extended Aquila range offers flexibility and versatility to specifiers, architects and contractors.
The Aquila range has been developed by Carea to improve visual appearance and thermal performance, quickly, efficiently and cost effectively with a simple mechanical fixing process. Suitable for both new build and refurbishment applications, the texture of the new Aqulia range allows specifiers to play with light and colour to create facades that shimmer and glow as the sun catches it.
Incredibly lightweight at just 7kg per square metre, the system can be fitted in virtually any weather conditions onto all types of walls – including concrete, timber or metal – making it ideal for refurbishment applications to overclad damaged or failing existing cladding and render.
Offering easy maintenance for enhanced lifecycle costs, Aquila can be used in conjunction with aluminium flashings for use in corner details and around windows. With invisible fastenings, the non-porous panels ensure that they remain unaffected by graffiti. An additional resistance to external and meteorological damage will allow the cladding to look as good as new for years to come.
As well as providing improved aesthetics and excellent thermal efficiency, the sustainable system is manufactured using around 95% natural minerals for superior environmental performance. With this in mind, Carea cladding systems can help buildings to optimise their thermal efficiency for a higher BREEAM rating, to achieve the high standards of modern building regulations.
Available with insulation bonded to the cladding panel, the system provides a fast track method of upgrading properties without major internal work. The system is BBA (British Board of Agrement) approved, providing architects, specifiers and contractors with complete peace of mind that they are using a product that has been rigorously tested to the highest standards possible.
The system is available in a range of insulation thicknesses from 40mm to 120mm and a range of product thicknesses, 3mm or 5mm thick, to suit a variety of building upgrade requirements. For additional flexibility, Carea offers other cladding products including its Alpha, Aranda and Arkea ranges, in a wide range of dimensions, finishes and colours.
The extended Aquila range further reinforces Carea’s position as the market leader in innovative cladding solutions.
