Some of the UK’s leading suppliers of specialist insulation materials have been officially re-launched this week as SIG Insulation, following a major streamlining of trading brands by SIG plc.
Sheffield Insulations, Warren Insulation, Orion Trent, Woods Insulation, Franklin, Solent Insulation Supplies, CHD and CH Insulation – all SIG plc-owned – will be known from now on as SIG Insulation, with marketing materials, vehicle livery and depot signage now carrying the new branding.
Paul Gordon, Managing Director, SIG Distribution said: “The rebranding is designed to provide greater clarity for customers. Providing consistency across all our trade counters will make sourcing products and seeking technical advice as quick and cost-effective as possible.
“It’s important our customers know that the technical expertise and knowledge that made these businesses market leaders in their sector remain at the heart of SIG Insulation,” Paul added. “However with this new, clearer brand, customers will know exactly who to come to each and every time.”
SIG Fixings and SIG Construction Accessories, two businesses that SIG Insulation customers have historically often used to source associated fixing and accessories products, are unaffected by the rebrand. Both will continue to trade under their existing names.
Meanwhile, SIG Technical Insulation will be the new name for Kitsons Thermal Supplies and GRM Distribution, while CPD Distribution and Ceiling System Supplies have been rebranded as SIG Interiors.
Paul Gordon concludes: “With these clearly defined business units, we will be able to better communicate the five core areas of specialism within SIG Distribution, to the benefit of both our staff and our customers.”
