Pool and spa specialist Barr + Wray is working on three major new spas with Ritz Carlton in Bangalore, Abu Dhabi and Bali totalling over £1 million.
The Dubai and Hong Kong divisions won the lucrative contracts and will add to Barr + Wray’s portfolio of work within high end, luxury hotels.
Barr + Wray’s Hong Kong division will be delivering a bespoke spa experience for Ritz Carlton’s brand new executive resort, Ritz Carlton Reserve in Bali.
The spa is set to feature a rooftop vitality pool with air and water massage jets and luxury male and female thermal suites with saunas, steam rooms and ice fountains.
The Bali retreat is one of only a handful of Ritz Carlton reserves, all located in remote and exotic locations.
This contract is Barr + Wray’s fifth project on the island of Bali after designing and installing high end spas for high end hotels including Westin Nusa Dua.
Barr + Wray is also providing heat experiences for Ritz Carlton’s Abu Dhabi resort including a luxurious Hammam with a Mashrabiya ceiling design, an element of traditional Arabic architecture.
Heat experience showers and a steam room will be built into the artistic Hammam which will welcome guests on the ground floor.
The opulent spa will also host separate male and female areas which will allow guests to enjoy the use of ice fountains, steam rooms and saunas, experience showers and a swimming pools.
The company is currently onsite at a third Ritz Carlton development in Bangalore working within a 17,000 square foot wellness floor to provide a high end spa journey.
The Banaglore hotel will be fitted with four steam rooms, three saunas, two experience showers and two heated benches along with two top-of-the-range stainless steel vitality pools.
