Impulse Bathrooms have achieved LANTAC (Local Authority National Type Approval Consortium) approval for their DocM suites as part of their growing range of products designed for the less mobile or disabled. This approval system enables certified products to be used by Local Authorities without further building control approval until the final inspection.
Impulse Bathrooms Comfort range, which offers WC’s and washbasins with extra height to make them more comfortable in use, has recently been joined by the DocM suites. These DocM packs have been developed to facilitate the use of the bathroom by disabled and wheelchair users, the elderly, the infirm or those with restricted mobility.
In fact the Impulse Bathrooms DocM products already have a highly successful track record in this specialist market over 10 years, having been previously supplied under a solus agreement through a third party.
Impulse Bathrooms will now be offering the whole Comfort and DocM ranges through the trade, supported by specialist sales team of Geoff Croft and Paul Mclaughlin of Basins, Pedestals and Loos Ltd together with the company’s existing agents and a newly appointed internal specialist in this sector, Lorraine Owen, who has joined Impulse Bathrooms from Barwood Products Ltd.
The DocM packs are especially competitively priced and conform to the relevant DocM specifications. They include low level, close coupled, back to wall and wall mounted WC’s and washbasins plus grab rails in blue or white or other special colours to order.
