The Association of Plumbing & Heating Contractors (APHC) has launched a new category of membership, with leading training provider JTL becoming the first of its members.
Training Provider Membership is aimed at promoting quality training providers to the sector, offering reassurance to APHC members. It is also seen as important that training providers have an input into industry consultative issues.
JTL’s presence in the sector has accelerated fast over the last 12 months, since the charitable company established a dedicated service arm for MES contractors, under the operational direction of Rob Moore. It is already the major national force in electrical training and engineering maintenance.
The new membership category is intended to bring together a useful single reference source for employers, when planning the recruitment of apprentices or development training designed to add to both technical and managerial knowledge.

“We are delighted to have established even closer links with APHC,” said Rob Moore, “and believe that this reassuring initiative should be of value to both existing and future employers in the sector. We welcome this APHC initiative, and we had no hesitation in joining.”
“JTL has a solid understanding of what both employers and learners need to be successful,” added Graeme Dryden. “We welcome their input and look forward to working closely with them in the coming months.”
