ACO Building Drainage showcases innovative solutions at EcoBuild

ACO Building Drainage will showcase a range of innovative products and systems on stand N510 at Ecobuild 2013.

The company, which specialises in the design and manufacture of stainless steel drainage systems for the internal and external built environment, will also be hosting a series of on-stand technical clinics, providing advice on the specification and installation of drainage solutions.

The one-to-one consultations will give visitors an opportunity to meet with experts from ACO Building Drainage’s design team to discuss their technical and bespoke requirements.

Visitors to the stand will also be able to view a range of solutions including:

Hygienic Gully - It is essential that drainage systems are designed and manufactured to rigorous standards in order to maintain a hygienic environment and minimise the risk of bacteria or pathogens forming.  ACO Building Drainage’s Hygienic Gully Range is certified to BS EN 1253 and includes a number of features which enhance hygiene protection and improve durability. Catering for various flow rates and construction requirements, including shallow depths and applications where preventative fire measures are required, the gullies are fully drainable to prevent standing water collecting at the base.  They also feature edge in-fill, continuously welded butt joints and rounded internal corners, meaning there are no crevices in which bacteria can gather.

Kitchen Channel System - ACO Building Drainage’s Kitchen Channel System offers a hygienic, high performance solution for commercial applications.  Available in a number of specifications featuring different channel volume, flow rates, size and spigot outlet diameter, it is also suitable for a range floor materials, including tiles, concrete, resin or vinyl. Simple to install and easy to maintain and clean, all ACO Kitchen Channel Systems are manufactured from austenitic stainless steel grade 304 as standard and are fully compliant with BS EN 1253.

Pipework Systems - ACO PIPE socketed stainless steel systems are easy to handle and install, with simple push-fit assembly offering significantly reduced installation time and associated cost savings.  With over 1,500 products in the range and a wide range of accessories, creating the perfect pipe system has never been easier. Suitable for above and below ground drainage applications, the hygienic thin-wall pipes provide efficient flow for water and waste products and offer a lightweight, low maintenance and aesthetically pleasing alternative to cast iron or PVC-u pipework. All pipe products are pickled passivated for optimum durability and corrosion resistance, and surface electropolishing or varnishing is also available.  Sockets are fitted with EPDM seals as standard, with 316 grade stainless steel and Viton seals available for particularly aggressive chemical applications.

Andy Buchan, divisional managing director for ACO Building Drainage, comments: “Our aesthetically pleasing drainage systems provide high levels of hygiene, quality and durability, meaning customers can be confident they will meet regulations and exceed expectations in terms of design, performance and cost effectiveness.

“Visitors to our stand at Ecobuild will be able to learn more about the wide range of standard and bespoke solutions we provide and technical experts from our design team will be on hand throughout the exhibition to discuss individual requirements.”
