4Eco, the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of surplus PV energy controllers, is set to officially launch the immerSUN 2 at Ecobuild 2013.
Developed for both commercial and domestic installations, the immerSUN 2 has been specifically designed with ease of installation and use, cost savings and efficient energy management in mind.
Once installed, the immerSUN 2 will reduce an average household’s energy bill by around £250 per year, by diverting electricity generated by PV panels directly to the immersion heater, with additional savings available by using the internal relay to direct surplus energy to space heaters, such as underfloor or storage. Without the immerSUN 2, the electricity would be exported to the grid, rather than be used for heating.
Lincolnshire-based 4Eco introduced the first immerSUN in 2012 and since then has manufactured and supplied over 2,500 units, with homeowners keen to maximise the financial benefits of having solar PV fitted to their property.
