British flooring manufacturer Amtico has developed a new online room visualiser to help designers and specifiers create individual flooring schemes for their projects. The interactive tool simplifies the process of finding the perfect floor by enabling users to experiment with numerous colour and pattern combinations in situ.
Bring design ideas to life with the new ‘Upload Photo’ feature; as the name suggests, this allows users to upload a project photo or sketch before the configurator then maps out the floor area. The interactive tool is easy to use – simply select the product, then the pattern, and apply it to the space. With Amtico’s extensive range of Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) and carpet products to choose from, users are able to create endless possibilities and explore different flooring ideas.
The tool makes it quick and easy to explore flooring ideas and visualise concepts within the project’s own setting. Plus, a selection of stock roomsets are available from a variety of sectors, including education, healthcare, hospitality and leisure, office and retail. Users are also able to develop a bespoke aesthetic by using the editing tools and changing the product colour(s) and sizes, or adding stripping for additional effect. Alternatively, there are 100 predefined Signature laying patterns in the Designers’ Choice collection, created by Amtico’s in-house design teams.

Additional functionality within the visualiser allows project concepts to be saved and printed, or shared with colleagues and clients. Plus, designs can be downloaded as JPEGs in ‘room’ or ‘overhead’ views, or in a format compatible with CAD software.
