Deceuninck’s new grey substrate provides perfect alternative to aluminium

Already the UK market leader in coloured PVC-U windows and doors, Deceuninck is launching its new grey substrate profile to the UK market this summer.

Adding to the 26 colourways already available from stock, the new substrate is RAL 7021 (Black Grey) which will help service the growing demand for this architecturally popular colour.

“Grey is a popular contemporary colour choice, especially in the commercial market,” comments Rob McGlennon of Deceuninck. “One in four windows in the UK are coloured, and the number is rising. By offering this new grey substrate we are reinforcing our position as leaders in the commercial and coloured window sectors.

“The new profile option will be available across Deceuninck’s range of casement, tilt-and-turn and fully reversible windows, as well as for residential, French and patio doors.

"The smooth grey finish with a grey base foil will provide a direct comparison to aluminium windows and doors, but with significant thermal efficiency and cost benefits. In summary, the innovation will provide a wealth of new colour options to architects, specifiers and commercial developers.

“Deceuninck is celebrating 80 years in business this year, which is a ringing endorsement for our ongoing innovation and – just as importantly – our ability to deliver that innovation where it matters.

"Colour has become a must-have deliverable for the commercial sector, and our strength in this area sets us apart from our competition. That is why we will continue to prioritise the development of our colour offering.”
