Porthaven is a company that specialises in the delivery of care homes for the elderly including residents living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Being delivered by Clugston’s West Midlands team, the projects worth £11m, will see the construction and fit-out of two modern facilities each including up to 70 beautifully designed bedrooms all with ensuite wet rooms, communal services comprising of cafés, hair salon and nail bar, cinema room, leisure and wellness rooms, as well as several lounges and dining rooms. Both facilities will also have a private dining room for special family occasions.

Danny Dawson, regional manager for Clugston’s West Midlands office, said: “The care home sector is an area of growth for us and one we have been focusing on for a while. We are delighted to have been selected by Porthaven Care Homes to deliver these schemes and look forward to building a strong relationship with them. We are also looking forward to working with local suppliers to bring these fantastic facilities to completion”.

Once constructed the facilities will provide residents with a modern living environment, along with state-of-the-art communal amenities and flexible space.

The Farnham project is expected to be completed by July 2017 and the Kidlington project is due for completion by August 2017. Show suites will be open to members of the public from Spring 2017.
